Puzzle Trail

Puzzle Trail is A one of a kind competitive jigsaw puzzle race game.  The basic concept is to build a puzzle pieced trail from starting point to finishing point. First to finish wins! A close finish in this game will be the most exciting puzzle experience you'll ever experience.
The Game can be played just as a simple puzzle race with a focus on precision play or it can be played more like board game using the game elements below 
  • Sabotage - delaying your opponent: place one of their pieces in your trail until you find the correct piece.
  • Forker - place your opponent’s Forker in their trail forcing them down a dead-end that they must reach before moving forward. 
  • Trail Breaker - Two players. If you’re behind, call out the trail you want to stop, complete the Trail Breaker before your opponent finishes their trail! Their last chance for victory will be to finish their second trail.

It's a must have for any puzzlers who like competitive board games.

Invented by Lance Nybye. It was an "ah-ha!" moment when it hit him, as several ideas came together perfectly. Over the last few months Lance has been working hard establishing a foundational patent on the product and perfecting the game with lots of helpful feedback from friends, family and coworkers.

Puzzle Trail: The Game

A competitive jigsaw puzzle racing game. Put your puzzling skills to the test against your friends and family!

Race to find Van Gogh’s Shoes:

Start with one of Van Gogh’s self-portraits, then race through one of Vincent’s famous paintings. Choose the Wheat Field with Cypresses, The Night Café, The Factory, or The Large Plane Trees to reach his shoes first.

But not so fast! There are multiple ways to play.

In this box, each puzzle trail has the same jigsaw pieces, but with different prints. You’ll need to watch your competition closely; they might be accidentally or purposely sabotaging your puzzle trail by using one of  your pieces to further their own.

The other style of gameplay is more about precision  and speed, but be careful - if you make a mistake,  it could cost you the game!

  • 89 total wood puzzle pieces: 4 trails of 19 pieces + 1 center piece + 12 breakers 
  • Comes individually packaged in a cardboard box with image of full puzzle trail and bag for pieces

Spice up a 2 player game!  Use a Trail Breaker to stop one of your opponents trails. Use carefully, timing is everything!

In this box, each puzzle trail has the same jigsaw pieces, but with different prints. You’ll need to watch your competition closely; they might be accidentally or purposely sabotaging your puzzle trail by using one of  your pieces to further their own.

Each trail has both, only one will be used. Your goal is to get your forger piece in before another player sneaks in the forker. Also keep in mind forking people over can waste valuable time
